جشن سیتروئن 2cv در سال 2015 در لهستان

 

 

شهر ترون در استان kujawsko-Pomorskie میزبان 6 تا 7 هزار سیتروئن سنتی در تاریخ 2015.02.08است این یک رویداد و جشن بی سابقه برای طرفداران سیتروئن است.

این جشن در سال 2009 در جمهوری چک بر قرارشد که تعداد ماشینها ,مساحتی حدود 76 هکتار را به خود اختصاص داده بود.

سال گذشته این گردهمایی در اطراف پاریس انجام شد.

Torun is going to be a host of one of the biggest rally events in the world! Around 6 to 7 thousand legendary Citroën 2CV cars will come to the city from several continents.

2CV is undoubtedly an unusual car that may generate even extreme emotions, one that you cannot be indifferent to. Some admire them, the others only fleer. In the past this Citroën model was simply called the ugliest car in the world and was given a name “the Ugly Duckling” which has never got rid of.

Of course, there are also people for whom „the Duck” is the most beautiful car ever seen. What is more, the number of this legendary car fans is still growing. It is the unusual, characteristic look and simplicity of its construction that many find as undeniable advantages of “the Tin Snail”. 2CV gained popularity in many different parts of the world also thanks to a series of movies about a French gendarme played by a famous actor Louis de Funes. The popularity of Citroën 2CV is best visible during regular meetings of fans of this model. The biggest  2CV world meetings host around six to seven thousand “Ducks”. The meeting area that was used in Most (Czech Republic) in 2009 encompassed 76 hectares! The participants drunk around 32 thousand liters of beer, 11 740 liters of mineral water and 860 liters of wine. The event was secured by 60 guards, 50 medical service members and 120 over staff.

Last year a similarly huge event - the 19^th meeting of “the Duck” fans was held in Salbris (180 km South from Paris). Next year 2CV fans will go to Spain, and in three years time they will come to Poland! Voting in which it was decided  that Torun and kujawsko-pomorskie province will host the 2CV international meeting participants in 2015 was made precisely on the 30^th of July, right in Salbris.

The Automobile Club of Torun has competed for a right to organize this event for three times. Torun lost twice with a minimum loss of two points – to both, France and Spain. This time the most serious opponents were the Slovenians. The dreams of the Automobile Club of Torun members finally came true. A strong team of Torun’s representatives that went to France consisted of the President of the Automobile Club of Torun Board Jan Balcerak, Tourist and Road Safety Manager as well as the organizer of the annual Citroën Rally in Torun - a big promoter of the Citroën make – Stanislaw Marasek, and many others. A very significant support was also given by the local government of the kujawsko-pomorskie province and the Torun City Council. Priceless was likewise the support of our friends from other Citroën fan clubs, especially the Citroën Club Poznan – the biggest Polish 2CV fan club. The 21^st International Meeting of 2CV Friends will undoubtedly be one of the biggest automobile events in the history of Torun and the Automobile Club of Torun, and also a very important event for the whole country, an event of all Polish fans of the make
